Bumped the derailleur on my Bulls e-bike from Shimano RD-M6000 to the Shimano RD-M5130. The reason I did this upgrade is because the M5130 is a newer model designed specifically for the e-bikes which is 300% more durable and stronger. It wasn’t a smooth upgrade since the new derailleur uses a different attachment and thus also use a different derailleur hanger. Luckily, I found the hanger that fits with my bike model from a company called Pilo, and it works perfectly. This wasn’t really a part of my bike restoration process, but more of an upgrade and I’m really hyped about this. Can’t wait to properly test it out.
