Excited to share that my team and I clinched the second-place position in the recent hackathon competition at Subito.it!

The hackathon focused on leveraging the power of AI to enhance user experiences and address challenges within our platform. Over the course of an intense and exhilarating event, we had the opportunity to brainstorm, collaborate, and bring our ideas to life.

Our solution? The development of an innovative visual search feature that revolutionizes how users interact with the marketplace. This feature allows our community to upload photos and instantly discover similar objects available for sale. Additionally, users can now search for items directly using photos from ads on our platform, making the buying and selling experience more seamless than ever before.

I couldn’t have asked for a more talented and dedicated team. I want to give a special shout-out to Tommaso for proposing the brilliant idea behind our project, but also a shout-out to Lorenzo, Michele, and Andrea for their unwavering commitment, technical expertise, and collaborative spirit. It was an absolute pleasure working alongside all of you (even remotely) to create something new and truly impactful.
