  2. In the latest Turbo PR, the team behind it decided to drop TypeScript support which to me seems like a DHH’s decision with this reasoning:

The code not only reads much better, it’s also freed of the type wrangling and gymnastics needed to please the TS compiler.

  3. While doing some code cleaning on this website, I dusted out the old like button with which I experimented on this website in 2020, and surprisingly the API on AWS still works! I decided to give it another life with some refactoring of the front-end component and migration from Web Components to Stimulus and Tailwind, and voilà! Now you can like my content. Also, re-learning new keys is a bit of a pain, and I don’t want to manually remap the whole thing.

  7. The partialCached template function can dramatically boost the Hugo building times. After playing around this website went from ~10 seconds to ~3 seconds, wow! Still lots of space for improvement.

  9. I can’t believe CCleaner is still alive and kicking! Brings so many memories, of when I used back in the day to keep my Windows XP lean and clean. For curiosity, I installed it on my Mac and it found 85,87 GB of clutter, WOW!
